Prior to installation of the wood plank flooring, the job site is properly inspected to seek out any sources of moisture and take steps to address it. Job site finish can be done on either unfinished flooring or a factory pre finished flooring. The surface area of the floor is usually treated by the floor manufacturer’s recommended finishing product in order to ensure that the finishing process will not produce and adverse effects on the wood surface.
